Canada is uniquely positioned to lead in this space, with many women at the helm of innovative geothermal start-ups across Western Canada. As a national network, WING Canada aims to connect and empower individuals from East to West, fostering unity and collaboration across this vast country.

In the short term, WING Canada is focused on establishing connections across borders. One of our flagship initiatives is the Co-Mentorship Program, which promotes meaningful peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. Each year, WING Canada partners with another WING country to pair individuals at similar career stages. This initiative encourages mutual support, shared growth, and the exchange of insights to advance both personal development and the sector at large. To date we have partnered with WING UK, WING Germany, and soon WING New Zealand!

Another cornerstone event is our WING Connect: Powering the Future Event, an annual gathering designed to bring together in a social setting to deepen relationships and form the foundation for future business success. This year’s theme focuses on energy security, emphasizing the critical role of policy, investment, and development in shaping Canada’s geothermal future.
